For emerging managers and SPV syndicators

Your first capital call, done right

Your first capital call arrives with your first close — often in two languages, and always with numbers that must reconcile to the fil. FundOps computes every LP’s figure exactly, drafts the notices, and waits for you to approve each send.

The first call, step by step

Every figure computed by the engine, every notice approved by you, and a record of how each was reached.

  1. Import your LP register from a CSV, or add LPs one by one.
  2. Set the call as a percentage of commitments, with a due date and purpose lines.
  3. The engine allocates to the minor unit and flags any LP called beyond its uncalled commitment.
  4. Review a draft notice for each LP, then approve one by one or in bulk.
  5. Each LP receives a PDF notice, a cover email and a private link that expires (after 30 days by default).
  6. Confirm wires as they arrive. Late payers are flagged and reminder drafts prepared — never sent automatically.
  7. Close the call and keep the close pack for your auditor.

Quarterly reporting that reconciles to NAV

Your LPs see one set of numbers, and every one of them ties back to the fund.

  • Enter the quarter in a structured form: paid-in, NAV, distributions, fees, portfolio positions, and your commentary as bullet points.
  • The engine computes TVPI, DPI, RVPI and called %, and each LP’s capital account: beginning balance, contributions, share of gain or loss, distributions, ending balance.
  • The capital accounts sum to the fund’s NAV exactly; the engine checks this every time. In this version they are allocated pro rata on commitment.
  • The drafting agent expands your bullets into the quarterly letter. Where data is missing it writes [MISSING] instead of inventing anything.
  • After your approval, each LP receives a PDF statement and letter, with a private link.

Good. FundOps is a tool your administrator can use, not a replacement for one. For administrators

Run your register through the sandbox

Upload a CSV of LP names and commitments and a call amount. You get per-LP allocations that sum exactly to the call, and watermarked draft notices. No account; your register is not stored.
